REMOVES ORGANIC AND INORGANIC PARTICULATE AS SMALL AS .01 MICRONS.
LOW POWER USAGE. UP TO 40 TIMES LESS THAN ELECTRONIC AIR CLEANERS.
LOW AIR RESISTANCE KEEPS YOUR FURNACE RUNNING EFFICIENTLY.
UNLIKE HEPA FILTERS, A SPECIAL AIR HANDLING SYSTEM IS NOT NEEDED. YOU CAN USE THIS WITH YOUR NORMAL FURANCE AIR BLOWER.
UNLIKE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATORS (EAC'S), EFFICIENCY ACTUALLY IMPROVES AS THE FILTER LOADS WITH CONTAMINANTS.
EASY TO MAINTAIN! NO CHEMICALS OR TIME CONSUMING MAINTENANCE NEEDED.
CLEANS THE AIR IN MULTIPLE PASSES THROUGH THE FURNACE BLOWER. 97% EFFICIENCY CAN BE REACHED WITHIN 10 HOURS.
Polarized medai filtration technology was designed and patented in the late 1970s. It has been used for commercial and residential air cleaning with great success since the early 1980s. Polarization acts in the same way as a magnetic field surrounding a magnet. Individual strands of the special fiberglass filter media accept a very strong negative charge, (7000 volts DC) making each strand a contaminant collection cell. 98% of airborne particulate are measured below one micron. Standard cheap furnace filters have the capability of collecting a certain percentage of larger particles, but have very little if any capability of arresting the submicronic particles which just pass right through the pores of the filters. Our special media collects and electroplates even the smallest submicronic particle.
HEPA filters also collect these submicronic particles, but a HEPA filter cannot be used with a normal furnace air blower. Instead of making the pores of Polarized media smaller to collect the submicronic particles, the electromagnetic field collects them without causing resticted airflow.
PREMIERONE Polarized Panels are desinged to fit in your existing furnace as a replacement for other cheaper filters. The unit uses a small 24 volt transformer that consumes a mere 1 watt. The powerhead converts this low voltage to 7000 volt DC creating an electrical "force field" allowing the filter media to electroplate the submicronic particles onto the fiberglass strands. Large particles are collected on the surface of the filter media and can be easily vacuumed off to keep air resistance low. Eventually the media needs to be replaced. Electrostatic Precipitators (EACs) work in a similar way, but when they stop working, a difficult and time consuming cleaning of the unit is required. With PREMIERONE , you simply throw away the dirty media and install fresh. Its like getting a brand new air cleaner each time. We recommend for residential applications you replace the media 3 time per year.
Once the filter is completely loaded and needs replacing, it is easy to change the media. Disconnect power cord from the power head. (Pictured above) Slide metal frame out of air return duct, open the frame and remove the old media. If needed, you may vacuum the metal frame including the screen area. Replace media taking care to slide metal probe through the yellow plastic guide tube pictured below. Close frame insert back into air return duct and reattach power cord to the power head.
